I always say this but it is true – the highlight of the two week placement they have with me in paper conservation is the visit to the mill!! An experience they never forget and thoroughly enjoy.
Kate Edmondson, Paper Conservation Specialist, The Courtauld Institute
Ideal for artists, designers, archivists, publishers and paper conservationists. This enables those with professional interest in paper to explore in greater depth. The group are then taken on a detailed tour and finally spend time at the professional hand vat with our papermaker, where they are able to make their own large sheets of paper which will be forwarded on to the participant once dry.
The experience is charged at £20 +VAT. It normally runs from 11am until 3pm.
Groups should be of 6-8 people maximum.
